Our strategic plan was developed by forty members of our community, including students, parents, teachers, business and local government leaders, and administrators in the summer of 2007 and approved by the Board of Education in September. 

 

The development of the five year plan was based on data from student academic results, perceptions of the instructional program, research of best practices and the desire to use our facilities in the best ways possible to benefit students. 

 

The results of the strategic planning activities resulted in a vision, mission statement, goals, and strategies to improve the education provided for our students for the next five years. 

 

The strategic plan is reviewed on a regular basis to keep our focus on student achievement. 

Allen Park Public Schools is a community committed to helping students reach their potential with the ability to creatively think as well as collaborate and thrive in a global society. We believe that our mission is to educate for lifelong learning with an uncompromising commitment to excellence.
